Hi!
Given that you're reading this post, I think it's safe to assume that you are fairly new to the server and in which case, welcome to Serene! Serene aims to be a economy survival server, meaning that we have a huge emphasis on the $$$ in your bank account. This server aims to add some unique features, such as the ability to create your own towns and rent out individual houses to residents, collect taxes, fight bosses at the dungeons, etc.
The problem with most servers is that there is a massive learning curve with all of the new features that server are having to adapt to. Even though we have some unique features, we hope to mitigate these concerns by providing extensive guides that should hopefully provide a clear view of how we operate. You're able to do a lot of cool things on our server which could also help you not have to bore yourself with tedious tasks. This post will act as a very general guide to this server. If you want more in-depth information, please ask one of our staff members on the server or go to our wiki (this is linked at the bottom of the post.
The goal for our worlds is to stay relatively current, in terms of the game version and our player base. This is why we have relatively smaller worlds. This also provides players who start playing Serene at the start to create a town in Build World #1 and maintain this town until we arrive at Build World #6. This lets the players who have that town in Build World #1 to have more of an exclusive offering compared to someone who has a town in one of the newer build worlds. When warping to one of these worlds, there will be a hologram that gives some information regarding the world, including the start date of the world. Comparing these start dates with another world could give players a better feel for when a new world may arrive, but this is entirely based on the utilization of the current world. These worlds will never be deleted, so you can rest assured that your work will remain there. In an extremely rare case where we do need to start offloading worlds, these worlds will be provided for download at a public link for the playerbase to download.
Claiming is going to be a slight learning curve for most users, I will not lie! However, our claiming system is amazing as it allows us to create much more robust claims that can be fine-grained to the players liking.
